Free Christian Clip Art:  Snow-covered Trees in Winter Scene - Daylight

©2008 GospelGifs

Picture of snow-covered trees in a rural scene during the day.

God's world is too often covered up by our own version of an environment.  We create houses and buildings and cover the land with roads, parking lots and many tons of iron, glass and concrete.  God created a living world, a land rich in life and sounds and fragrances and experiences that are all but alien to us.  It is a terrible loss for any human being to never know how an icy stream feels to the bare feet, or what an eagle looks like up close (without the bars and wire of a cage), or what a moose sounds like, or what how many kinds of owls and bats and moths live in their own region.

The earth is a beautiful place and we all need to become acquainted with it.  Seeing the things made by God Himself helps us all to better understand His ways.  Along with daily reading and meditation of the Scriptures, we should learn as much, and experience as much of the creation as we can, to round out our understanding.  Jesus, for example, did not begin His public ministry until He had spent time out in the wilderness.  He fasted and was tempted, but He also was away from the things of human origin, out among the other creatures God has made.
