In the Presence of the Lord Jesus is real liberty, and freedom from the bondages common to this world.  People have been released from addictions, set free of terrible illnesses, and even death, simply by placing their hope and faith in Jesus Christ.  Most important, however, is the freedom from eternal darkness, the very sting of death itself.  Jesus overcame death and the grave for us.
