Here's something I wrote as a kid back in high school. Somehow it still seems appropriate.

Monkey's Uncle?

Some say,

though it can't possibly be,

that man began as a chimpanzee.

I doubt the sanity of the lot.

And they can try, but they'll not,

ever make a monkey out of me.
