Jesus was on the way to the cross long before He was arrested
and falsely accused of crimes against the nation and against
Rome. He knew that He had come to die for the sins of the
world.
The Lord knows all about our world, our lives, and our end.
He is with us as we travel along the path of life. We may
often feel alone, as even the Lord did while on the cross, but
we are not without His Presence as we walk and live for Him.
He died for our sins, how much more will He not also be with us
in our own struggles of life and death. No matter what we
face in this world, in this brief lifetime on earth, the Lord
Jesus will never leave us or forsake us. Amen.
